Personal Coaching

I see my role as a personal coach is to help people find the focus they need to achieve the things they want in their lives and overcome the challenges that are preventing them from doing so. This can be in any area - health and fitness, athletic, career, business, personal, or all of these things - I'm a true believer in personal responsibility based on the values, habits and passion that sit inline with your core being.

I am on your team and I will work with you to help you discover your own recipe and method for success and help your implement these lessons into your everyday life through practical tools.

Here are some things to know:

  • My aim is to work with you to look at your choices and help you improve these in ways that work for you.

  • The sessions are consultative and we work together via Skype or Facetime.

  • We can have 1 session or regular sessions, I work in with you around scheduling.

  • Before we start working together I ask you to provide some background information to help me understand a bit more about you.

  • I only ever work with 5 clients at one time so I can focus on giving the best attention that I can.

I’ve been doing triathlons for almost 5 years now and during that time as with any triathlete I’ve invested a lot both personally and financially into training whilst trying to maintain the same level of commitment to the rest of my home and work life. It’s still early days yet but I would like to say my sessions with Bevan have already been life changing. After 20 years of battling with food issues and doing the therapy thing. I knew what had caused the issues, but I didn’t know how to fix them.

With Bevan I find I am able to approach the issues supported by him as a sounding board, with patience and insight. He asks the right questions, so that I can find my own answers and offers a subtle helping hand to help me get to the next step. Together we have set realistic goals, but we have also set up processes and plans to make those goals obtainable.

I can’t tell you what a difference this has already made to my everyday life and I know that it would not have been possible without his great coaching, support and encouragement. He always believed I could do it.

I have been working with Bevan for a couple of months now.  I became interested in what he had to teach after listening to his ‘Fitness Behaviour’ podcast.  At first, I was considering just getting advice in moving from running to multi-sport, but as we talked, I became more intrigued.  If I had to put it in one word, it would be this.  Passion.  It oozes out of him.  This is a person who really loves coaching, and understands the process of improvement.

The sessions immediately changed to more of who I am and how I could develop as a person. I’ve worked with business ‘consultants’ and fitness trainers in the past, and found a lot of cookie cutter/one size fits all approaches. ‘Follow the program’.  It works for a while, but it never really addresses the heart of the matter: YOU.  What drives you?  What holds you back?  Who do you have to be to be successful?   

What appealed to me about Bevan is that he really holds the mirror up to his clients, trying to find out what drives/motivates/hinders you in your process.  I’m not saying it’s comfortable, but it’s challenging and every session leads to more insight and growth.  His coaching applies whether it’s something simple like establishing an exercise program, or going deeper and finding clarity and direction to lead an expansion of your corporation.

I contacted Bevan a few months ago to help me reach my business goals in the fitness industry.
